Free grant writing resources

Volunteer treasurers of community organisations are concerned about the financial position of the group. Sometimes this might mean working with others on the committee to apply for grants. At Step by Step Fundraising they have assembled a series of 20 free articles to assist with the process. Although some are specifically for the USA, there are also some very helpful resources regardless of the country you are operating in.

Hi Nerida, I'm glad that you found the list useful. Thanks for passing it on to your readers. I salute you for the work you are doing to help volunteer treasurers. It is probably the most time intensive and skilled job on the non profit board.

That would be so handy. It is really hard to write a grant application so that you are realistic and reasonable, but so that you stand out in the crowd. Every bit of extra information helps.
